Jesse the Ferret
We will all miss Jesse the ferret. She died this past fall (2005) having been a program animal with us for the past 6 years. Not to mention her gossip column that the volunteers loved so much. We will have to give it some hard thought before we decide to continue that column. Nobody knew how to snoop like Jesse ! Jesse was a favorite of children and adults. She loved to wrestle and play fight, always coming back for more. She also loved to explore in the office, or up your pant leg. She made a wonderful dust mop, cleaning out all the dust bunnies under our cabinets and furniture.
