What if Natures Nursery earned a penny every time you searched the Internet?

Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!
GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

GoodShop.com
is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, eBay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Natures Nursery as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word!

Drink Coke? Drink Pepsi?
Either way, you can help Nature's Nursery.
We are collecting Coke and Pepsi rewards points, which we will use to purchase silent auction items for our next fundraiser.
Its easy to help. Just click the button below and send us the code, including which product it is from.
We will enter it into our account and redeem the points in time for our next big event.
Its another great way you can help support Nature's Nursery!

Volunteers Needed!!

We need volunteers for some different types of jobs. If you are interested in taking on any of these tasks… call the person noted for each situation below. These aren’t the usual jobs… and aren’t always the most interesting as far as getting to work with the animals. But all are important to the organization. Thanks in advance for anything you can help with!

Collecting Carpet Squares ~ Ooooo…. Something you’ve always dreamed of doing! (??) Well, maybe not… but it sure would be helpful. We currently have a volunteer to do this job… but she migrates south for the winter. So maybe if somebody would like to take this on towards the end of the year… that would be great. It simply involves making periodic calls to carpet retailers and asking them if they would have any carpet squares to donate, then picking them up to bring to NN. ~ Call Laura @ 877-0060.

Housekeeping ~ We now have a nice new facility… and it sure would be nice to keep it that way! Although we have all been working hard to keep the new wood floors & the newly painted walls all clean and pretty, it doesn’t always happen with everything that’s going on. If anybody would like to come in on a regular basis (once every 2-4 weeks) and do a bit of deep cleaning, that would be wonderful. If more than one person was interested… then it would obviously take even less time from each person. Call Laura @ 877-0060.

Maintenance ~ It would be great to have somebody to work on that “To Do” List! You know… those little things that mean a lot… fixing a door that doesn’t quite shut right, hanging a shelf, stopping the annoying drip under the sink… (I could go on and on). If you like doing those little fix-em-ups… then we have the job for you!! Call Laura @ 877-0060.

Recycling Runner ~ Just what it says. It would be one less thing to think about if somebody was willing to take our bottles, plastic, glass and cans to the recycling station every week or two. Oh! And the cardboard. How could I forget the cardboard?? 90% of the animals brought out come in cardboard boxes. All those boxes need to be broken down and carted off to recycling. So… how about it? Interested? Call Laura @ 877-0060.

I'd like your comments and suggestions on our web site.
