Repeat visitor! Thanks to Steve Lauer for his willingness to band our raptors before release. Because of this practice, we were able to determine that this bird not only came to Nature’s Nursery this past September with possible West Nile Virus symptoms… but had also been treated in August of 2005 for a fractured wing! It’s nice to know that the birds we care for are making a go of it after we release them!
